Install eggdrop

Shorts steps on configuring a eggdrop

In a terminal of the host machine were you want to install the eggdrop just type the folowing commands:

1. wget http://www.ircfuture.net/downloads/eggdrop1.6.17.tar.gz

2. type ls

3. type: tar -xzvf eggdrop1.6.17.tar.gz

4. type: cd eggdrop1.6.17

5. type: ./configure

6. type: make config or make iconfig

7. type: make

8. type: make install DEST=/home/$(whoami)/eggdrop

9. type: cd ../eggdrop

10. change name: mv eggdrop.conf bot.conf OPTIONAL (change this only if you want to remane your eggdrop conf file)

Editing Your Eggdrop Conf. file

1. pico eggdrop.conf

2. go down to the section called ##### BASIC SETTINGS ###### all lines that starts with # are comments

3. instead of set username "lamest" use any username "vivo"

4. change set admin "Lamer <>"

5. next is set network "NETWORKNAME"

6. set time to GMT

7. offset +1

8. ip is: 213.89.242.47 <<<< 60 =" 10">
